Your lights, dressed for every holiday. Automatically.
Luma is a free lighting-control app built on WLED. Set your holidays and favorite sports teams once, tap Sync, and your lights take it from there — every night, all year.
This is the real app — not a mockup.
Tap around the Home screen, Autopilot, Sports, and Settings tabs just like an installer would on-site. It's the exact interface that ships to controllers, running right here in your browser.
What you won't see in this preview: a connected controller. This page is served over HTTPS for the web, and browsers block a secure page from talking to a plain WLED device on your home network (it's the browser's mixed-content rule, not a Luma limitation). That part needs the real app running locally — see below.
Set it once. It runs itself.
Everything below is real, shipping functionality — pulled straight from the app's own user guide.
Autopilot & Sync
Turn Autopilot on and tap Sync schedule to controllers to push your whole plan to your lights. Re-sync any time you change holidays, teams, or looks — a green chip means a controller is synced and running.
Holidays, handled
Every holiday runs in a window around its date. Moving holidays — Easter, Thanksgiving, Memorial & Labor Day — are figured out automatically each year, with days-before/after and skip controls if you want to fine-tune.
Looks & rotation
Star one look and it plays alone; star two or more and they rotate, with adjustable frequency and shuffle — so the same holiday doesn't look identical every night.
Sports teams
One team per pro league (NFL/NBA/MLB/NHL) plus two college teams. Your team plays between holidays by default, or can be set to override holidays entirely — with dedicated team-color downlights.
Downlights, solid colors & Bug Off
Pick a steady color for just your downlight bulbs, or set the whole strip to one solid color. Both include Bug Off — a warm, low-attraction amber for bug-free patio evenings.
Built-in diagnostics
The Diagnose Controllers tool checks that every controller is reachable, its clock is set, its schedule is loaded, and what's supposed to play tonight — before you ever have to guess.
How an install actually goes
Three steps, then Luma takes over.
Connect the controller
Open the app on the same Wi-Fi as your WLED controller and add it by IP address. Green means connected.
Pick your holidays & teams
Star the looks you want for each holiday, favorite your sports teams, and set what plays on ordinary nights in between.
Tap Sync — done
The schedule pushes to the controller and runs on its own from then on. Re-sync only when you change something.
