Autopilot
Runs every night on the controllers — on at sunset, off at your set time. Works with the app closed.

Sets the controllers' clock — used for the date and for wind-down / off timing.

What plays each night
⭐ Star looks on any holiday or team screen. Star one for a single look, or several to rotate through them. The timing below applies when more than one is starred.

🌒 Wind down
Switch to a calm look partway through the night
Wind down at
Wind down to
🏠 If you’ve set up groups, wind-down uses your groups in that holiday’s colors first. Otherwise it uses this choice: downlights stay on in the holiday’s colors (strips off), or a calm look. Between holidays: warm white.
⭐ Starred looks are what each holiday plays — one star = single look, several = rotate · 👑 the crown sets one true default for power-on & when autopilot is off
📌 Pin a holiday
Runs that holiday every night and pauses the calendar — for off-season displays (USA looks in June, etc.)

🏈 Team game nights
Off = teams never play and the controller stops fetching game schedules. Your team list is kept.
Adds game-day tracking right away. Tap Edit on the team to star the looks it plays. 1 per sport, 2 college, 6 total.
🏈 Game night overrides holiday
On = when your team plays, their game look takes the night — even during a holiday. No game = holiday plays as normal. Off = holidays always win.

Luma Lights Admin · v1.0
User Guide
✨ Welcome to Luma
Luma lights your house automatically — the right colors for each holiday or your sports team, with no daily fiddling. Set it up once, tap Sync, and the controllers run themselves.
🤖 Autopilot & Sync
Turn Autopilot on and tap Sync schedule to controllers to push everything to your lights. Always re-Sync after you change holidays, teams, or looks — that's what updates the controllers. The green chip means a controller is synced and running.
⚡ When the lights play
By default lights play the moment a controller gets power — use a smart plug (e.g. Kasa) to set the nightly on/off time. Prefer sunset-based timing instead? Turn on Settings → Developer → Location & sunset timing to unlock location and on/off times. Set your Time zone (on the Autopilot screen) so the controllers keep the correct date and clock — that's what wind-down and the off-time rely on.
🎃 Holidays
Each holiday runs for a window around its date — and moving holidays (Easter, Thanksgiving, Memorial & Labor Day…) are figured out automatically every year. To fine-tune, open ⚙️ Customize looks & behavior on the Autopilot screen: set days before / after, Skip a holiday you don't want, or tap 🎲 for a different surprise look each night.
⭐ Looks & rotation
On any holiday or team screen, tap the ⭐ star on a look to use it. Star one and it plays alone; star two or more and they rotate (set how often, and Shuffle, in Customize).
🏈 Sports teams
Go to Sports, pick a team, and ⭐ star its looks. You can have one team per pro sport (NFL/NBA/MLB/NHL) and two college teams. Star Team Downlights for team colors on just your downlight bulbs. Your team normally plays between holidays — flip Sports team overrides holiday (in the Between-holidays card) to let it play even during holidays.
💡 Downlights, Solid Colors & Bug Off
Downlighting lets you pick a steady color for just your downlight bulbs; Solid Colors sets your whole strip to one color. Both include Bug Off — a warm amber that's low-attraction to insects — great for summer evenings on the patio.
📅 Between holidays
In the Autopilot Customize drawer, choose what plays on ordinary nights: downlights, a saved look, or My Teams. There's a matching wind-down option to settle into calmer downlights later in the evening.
🔎 If something looks off
Re-tap Sync first. On the Autopilot deploy card, 🔎 Diagnose controllers checks each one (reachable, clock set, schedule loaded, tonight's plan). Most "lights didn't come on" issues are a controller that lost Wi-Fi/time or just needs a re-Sync.

Groups
Groups define named zones on your LED strip. Each group maps to a WLED segment for independent color control in Group Mode.
Pushing segments…
💡 How Groups Work
• Each group maps to one WLED segment using start/stop LED indices
• Groups appear in Create Your Own → Group Mode for per-zone color control
• Start/stop indices are positions on your total LED strip (e.g. Output 1 = 0–49, Output 2 = 50–99)
• Tap Push to apply segment layout to your WLED controller
