Autopilot & Holidays

The core loop: turn Autopilot on, pick your looks, sync โ€” and the controllers run the whole calendar on their own.

๐Ÿค– Autopilot & Sync

Turn Autopilot on and tap Sync schedule to controllers to push everything to your lights. Always re-sync after changing holidays, teams, or looks โ€” that's the action that actually updates the controllers. A green chip means a controller is synced and running.

โšก When the lights play

By default, lights play the moment a controller gets power โ€” pair with a smart plug (e.g. Kasa) to set the nightly on/off time. Prefer sunset-based timing instead? Turn on Settings โ†’ Developer โ†’ Location & sunset timing to unlock location and on/off times. Set your time zone on the Autopilot screen so controllers keep the correct date and clock โ€” wind-down and the off-time both depend on it.

๐ŸŽƒ Holidays

Each holiday runs in a window around its date, and moving holidays โ€” Easter, Thanksgiving, Memorial & Labor Day and more โ€” are figured out automatically every year. To fine-tune, open Customize looks & behavior on the Autopilot screen: set days before/after, skip a holiday you don't want, or tap the dice for a different surprise look each night.

โญ Looks & rotation

On any holiday or team screen, tap the star on a look to use it. Star one and it plays alone; star two or more and they rotate โ€” set how often, and whether to shuffle, in Customize.

๐Ÿ“… Between holidays

In the Autopilot Customize drawer, choose what plays on ordinary nights: downlights, a saved look, or My Teams. There's a matching wind-down option to settle into calmer downlights later in the evening.
